The Truth Center was created to encourage change and the betterment of those we serve. We begin these works by creating a platform for change through social justice, mental health and addiction counseling, business development, education and community empowerment. The mission is too not just be a resource, but to be a force for system change state wide. Change can only come to those who seek it and understand that with it better can come.

The Truth Center is committed to implementing our mission with a purposeful focus and active plan to increase educational and health care equality through education, counseling, economic development and social justice. Strategic platforms are carried out with the following strategies: 

• Providing educational access to those who seek to increase their knowledge. Success through education doesn’t just increase vocabulary it creates economic and developmental empowerment, and the ground works to building traditions and the creation of family legacy.
• Creating awareness and education around mental illness and addiction for individuals and families through quality health care and better wellness programs. 
• Supporting and creating community based businesses through facilitating entrepreneurship, business development, and home and investment property education and ownership. 
• Advocating for education, healthcare, and policy change. while working on small business funding, economic policies and programs that ensure minority participation.

To create community supportive services that impact change and continued growth for individuals and families statewide.

Cassandra Wooden  is a 25-year educator, business leader, published author and therapist. This center was created with the desire to help those in need.  She contributes her works to her late mother Sharon J. Wooden. A  promise was made to never give up on those less fortunate, while helping to educate those who desire better was.  To date, this promise is being kept while countless more are being created and carried out.
